So let's regroup by revisiting the goal.
What is it?
If it’s attracting ideal clients, looking to competition, for cues to figure out 'why you?' is how you become an echo, not a voice!
Success is found between the spectrum of reality and expectation.
With a bit of consciousness, you can be successful in attracting and converting the right person in search of the measure of value you supply.
For example, if business grows 40% overall because your brand lives rent-free in someone's mind, you're 100% better off than being invisible because you sell the same laundry list of services like Jack or Jill down the street.
If you’re in that situation, working with TheBrandTUB is a no-brainer!
But that value wouldn't measure up to someone already making seven figures a month, for example, because of reality, and where their aspirations now sit.
This is why some people have big, audacious goals like moving the Caribbean forward technologically or curing world hunger. It sounds performative, yes, but where do you go from having it all?
Many don’t know, most locally can’t recognize whatever help is if it were in front of them. So in an effort to close that gap between where they are and somewhere they deem fit to be, a handful of them end up insecure, playing the comparison game, or competing.
It’s no longer about who they’re targeting, but their ego. And that's why you shouldn't lose sleep over people like that.
Fortunately, I'm Good At Blending What Success Looks Like With Strategy That Complements It, When You Can Define What ‘Enough’ Is.
Because there’s nothing wrong with feeling content.
John the Baptist had more followers than Jesus Christ, yet He wasn't discouraged that only 120 people entered the upper room.
So, think it not strange that you’re noticed for being different. 🤣😭😂 That’s kind a the point of when you're working with a vision of what you're building. Quality matters.
That's the deeper problem with most local "branding projects".
Where there is no vision, the objective gets watered down to what someone else is doing, playing someone else's game: letting anyone in, and working with anyone willing to pay you, and somehow calling it positioning and differentiation.
That’s a cock n bull story!
